Sažetak: U radu se obrazlaže pristup spajanju limova i profila od Al-Mg-Si legure pri rekonstrukciji željezničkih vagona. Budući da se radi o spajanju limova i profila velikih gabaritnih dimenzija (6000×1915 mm i 6000×1335 mm) i mali debljina stijenke (od 1.6 do 3 mm), a imajući u vidu zahtijeve za kvalitetu zavarenog proizvoda, ovome problemu potrebno je posvetiti posebnu pozornost. Spajanje limova i profila izvedeno je tehnikom " zavarivanja u provrtu", uz korištenje suvremene opreme za zavarivanje MIG postupkom. Kao druga moguća tehnologija spajanja limova i profila na vratima željezničkih vagona navodi se spajanje lijepljenjem, a jedna od otežavajućih okolnosti je to što spajanje lijepljenjem nije dovoljno obuhvaćeno važećim propisima i standardima za područje strojarstva i gradnje komponenata željezničkih vozila.
Summary: The paper describes approach to Al-Mg-Si alloys plates and profiles joining, during the railway wagons reconstruction. Due to big dimensions (6000×1915 mm and 6000×1335 mm) and small thickness plates and profiles (1.6 to 3 mm) joining and high quality requirements, it is necessary to take attention to problem of Al-alloys connection. Joining of plates and profiles was provided by "welding in the hole" techniqem, using modern MIG welding equipement. As a second another possible technology for joining thim plates and profiles for railway wagons doors, the adhesive boding was mentioned. Adhesive boding was not enough regulated by codes and standards for mechanical engineering and railway vehicles components building, and that is one of difficult circumstances for the application.
